About Consultwise Directory

A more useful directory starts with better information

Consultwise helps people evaluate businesses and independent professionals while giving those providers practical tools to improve how they are discovered, trusted, and contacted.

Why we exist

Search results give people options. We help them understand those options.

Traditional directories often stop at a name, category, and phone number. That is rarely enough to judge whether a provider is relevant, established, or a good fit.

Consultwise is being built as a reviewed information and growth platform: a public directory for discovery, structured profiles for evaluation, and private workspaces that help businesses act on gaps in their visibility, content, reputation, and lead handling.

Our publishing model

Submission is not automatic publication

Listings and public content move through defined states. Editors can approve, request revision, or reject material that is incomplete, irrelevant, misleading, or unsupported.

  1. 1
    Create

The submitter provides required identity, classification, contact, location, media, and service information.

  2. 2
    Review

An editor evaluates completeness, presentation, relevance, and the available supporting evidence.

  3. 3
    Decide

The record is approved, returned for revision, or rejected with an appropriate status.

  4. 4
    Maintain

Published information can be updated, monitored, moderated, or re-reviewed when circumstances change.

Clear trust signals

Published and verified do not mean the same thing

Published

Visible in the directory

The listing passed the applicable editorial checks and is eligible to appear publicly.

Verified

An additional trust status

Verification is tracked separately and reflects the platform’s applicable verification process. Publication alone does not automatically grant it.

Recommended actions

Guidance, not guarantees

Workspace recommendations identify possible improvements. They do not promise rankings, traffic, leads, or changes on an external website.

How we work

Principles that shape the platform

Clarity over inflated claims

Connected and unconnected data, measured results, suggestions, and editorial statuses should be clearly distinguished.

Evidence over appearance

A polished profile is useful, but public details and trust indicators should remain grounded in information that can be reviewed.

Access with accountability

Owners, teams, clients, and administrators receive role-appropriate access, with controls and auditability where required.

AI with human boundaries

AI can assist with drafting, analysis, support, and follow-up. Editorial decisions and sensitive escalations retain human oversight.

Improvement, not pay-to-rank

Paid plans unlock operating tools and capacity. They should not silently purchase editorial approval or guaranteed organic placement.

Responsible participation

Businesses, customers, agencies, publishers, and specialists are expected to provide accurate information and use the platform honestly.

Transparency and support

Know the rules and know where to ask

Our public policies explain the terms that govern use of the platform. The Help Center explains product workflows, and support tickets provide a path to a human representative when self-service guidance is not enough.
