Editorial guidelines
What we check before anything goes live, and what one revision round means in practice.
Section 2 — what each submission type needs
Business listings need a description written specifically for that listing (not pasted from your homepage), your services, and a logo. Expert profiles need a 60–120 word bio, a credibility marker, and a LinkedIn URL we can use to verify you're a real, identifiable person. Guest posts need a clear core question the piece answers, and a minimum 900-word body.
Section 4 — content structure
Guest posts must answer the core question directly in the opening — don't bury it under a general intro. Every post ends with a distinct key-takeaway block, not folded into the body.
Section 6 — the review process
A human editor reviews every submission, usually within 1–3 business days. If it's not quite ready, you'll get one revision round with specific notes — please address all of them in a single resubmission. A second round of unresolved issues on the same submission is treated as a rejection rather than an open-ended back-and-forth. Once a listing, profile, or post is live, changes go through the same review step: request an edit from My submissions and it's reviewed before going live, so nothing publishes without a second set of eyes.
Section 7 — sourcing and disclosure
If a piece was AI-assisted, that's tracked internally and a human editor is on record as
having reviewed it before publish. Any link back to your own site in a guest post is limited
to one and is published as rel="nofollow sponsored" — that's applied automatically,
not something an editor can forget to add.
